Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of factors that influence the development of socio-economic factors of labor motivation in agricultural enterprises. The relevance of the study is due to the importance of understanding and managing the factors that influence labor motivation in the agricultural business in order to achieve stability and efficiency of this industry. The purpose of the article is to develop recommendations for improving the management of labor motivation in the agricultural business in order to achieve stability and competitiveness of this industry in the face of internal and external challenges. To achieve this goal, the study solved a number of tasks: the economic nature of the term "motivation" is defined; socio-economic factors of labor motivation in agrarian business are considered; internal and external factors influencing their development are analyzed; the positive experience of domestic agricultural enterprises in supporting and motivating employees is studied; key approaches and practices which should be adopted by agrarian business entities are identified. The study used general scientific methods of cognition: critical analysis, information synthesis, induction and deduction. The study found that due to the war, Ukraine's agrarian business has been negatively affected by many factors. These factors include economic and political instability, deterioration of workplace security, changes in export conditions, psychological stress, and restricted access to resources. These factors have had a negative impact on the development of socio-economic factors of labor motivation in the agricultural business, but Ukrainian agricultural enterprises are looking for ways to support and motivate their employees. Based on the experience of these companies, several key approaches and practices have been identified that are recommended for adoption by agribusinesses. These are: providing employees with competitive wages and social guarantees, providing opportunities for training and development, ensuring safe and comfortable working conditions, creating a stimulating corporate environment, and support in crisis situations. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of applying the obtained results by the agricultural business entities of Ukraine to support and motivate their employees.
