Abstract

The article analyzes the informational and psychological impact of modern internet television on the basis of the materials taken from news video coverings of the official YouTube channel of the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. The research work provides the results of online polls and consolidated opinions of traffic police officers who analyzed the aforementioned video materials as part of the study. Parts of the videos are described that have potentially positive informational and psychological effect on the consciousness and behavior of road users and pertaining to the dynamics of traffic law violation events, the offending driver's life circumstances, the significance of correct professional action of traffic patrol officers of the State Road Traffic Safety Inspectorate. Based on the progress made in different sciences and practical domains of human activity, several recommendations have been formulated aiming to develop methodologies for positive informational and psychological effect on road users.
