Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of conducting forensic linguistic research and forensic linguistic examinations. The history of their origin, formation and conceptual differentiation is traced, as well as the problems that researchers (experts) have to face with extremist texts in the Russian penal system. It is proposed to create a special unit at the Federal Institution Research Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia not only to develop forensic linguistic research and forensic linguistic examinations at the request of the structural divisions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, but also to study issues of optimizing their content and compositional basis.
