Abstract

The article examines approaches to the formation of a motivational policy for employees of educational institutions in Ukraine. Fundamental concepts of motivation are systematized. Different age categories of people are differentiated according to needs and distinct values within the social whole. Factors affecting the motivation of education workers have been determined. The level of increased professionalism of personnel support plays a key role in the provision of quality educational services and increases the competitiveness of specialists of higher education institutions in Ukraine and on international labor markets. The system of motivating employees, the presence of a powerful educational and scientific potential that ensures high quality of educational services comes to the fore in the formation of the strategy of educational institutions and acquires priority for the management staff. With the help of a questionnaire, a sociological survey was conducted regarding the level of staff satisfaction, as well as the motives of their professional activity among employees, pedagogical (scientific-pedagogical) employees of the Kremenchug Flight College of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The study provided an opportunity to introduce a methodical approach to assessing the level of motivation of employees of educational institutions and to offer recommendations for improving the management system of employee motivation, taking into account the age aspect. The proposed system of criteria, using which the management gets the opportunity to assess the level of employee satisfaction and determine the motivational rating taking into account the age factor. The need to develop a methodology for assessing the level of motivation of employees of educational institutions is determined by the need to establish competitive advantages and highlight the most effective directions. Assessing the level of motivation of employees of educational institutions should involve research and analysis of the personnel resource component for the effective operation of the educational institution.
