Abstract
The article highlights main issues of the local self-government reform in Ukraine. The different aspects of increasing the quality of services provided to citizens by local selfgovernment bodies are analyzed. The article defines main patterns and tendencies in the realization of the state policy for improving the quality of administrative (municipal) services in the context of the on-going large-scale decentralization reform in Ukraine as well as identifies main directions for its further modernization. On the basis of the local selfgovernment current state analysis and taking into account foreign experiences of other countries, the proposals for further realization of the decentralization reform in Ukraine are presented.
