Abstract
An analysis of the purpose, objectives and content of the integrated course «Human Rights and Civil Society in Ukraine» was carried out. It was established that the course contributes to ensuring a number of general and special competencies of students, and mastering its content allows students to form a system of knowledge about Ukraine as a democratic, independent, social, legal state, to develop legal awareness and legal culture of students
