Abstract
Keio University adopted the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) Web of Science (WoS) in 1998. Wo offers web access to Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index Expanded, and Arts & Humanities Citation Index Expanded, and it offers unique capabilities for conducting bibliographic data searching and cited reference searching. ISI has also announced new products. Journal Citation Reports on the Web and ISI Links. This paper describes experiences with WoS at the Medical Information and Media Center of Keio University, the special features of WoS, and the prospects for making Wos available to Japanese medical libraries.
