Abstract
Eyyûbî tarihi, İslâm coğrafyasında ve Batı dünyasında geniş bir çalışma alanı oluşturan dönemlerden birisidir. Türkiye'de de bu dönemle ilgili birçok çalışma bulunmaktadır. Ancak bu çalışmaların çoğu genellikle Selahaddin Eyyûbî dönemine odaklanmış ve klasik kronolojik bir bakış açısıyla hazırlanmıştır. Eyyûbî kültür ve medeniyeti hakkında ise çok sınırlı araştırma yapılmış, bu durum konunun gölgede kalmasına sebep olmuştur. Bu eksikliği gidermek amacıyla alanda uzman akademisyenlerin bir araya gelerek çıkardığı "Eyyûbîler: Kültür ve Medeniyet" isimli esermevcut alanda önemli bir boşluğu doldurmaya namzettir.
