Abstract

The article focuses on one of the issues of contemporary university education, namely psychological and pedagogical support of students with disabilities and special health needs in the university environment. The authors of the article consider the features of the “Self- concept” development of students with disabilities and special health needs, the directions and principles of psychological and pedagogical support of such students in the process of studying at the Gorno-Altaisk State University. Specialists of the University center for social and psychological assistance have developed a Programme of psychological and pedagogical support for students with disabilities and special health needs at the University.
