Abstract

Abstract. The modelling of a frequency-controlled asynchronous electric drive was carried out using two software products Matlab and DIMASDrive. The consumed currents and active powers are determined both at the input of the drive and at the input of the asynchronous motor. The simulation results are compared with the results of experimental studies and the corresponding accuracy are found. Both static and dynamic modes of operation are considered. The advantages and disadvantages of the considered software products are established. The complementarity of these programs is substantiated, which makes it possible to use them together when performing certain tasks.
