Abstract
The results of effective work organization improve safety and the workers’ quality of life, and increase productivity. Globalisation and digitalization are dramatically changing and meaningfully affecting the organization of work. However, there is currently a lack of research in terms of the foundation of the labor process and its organization – co-operative activity. The article analyses how co-operative activity has a significant impact on the evolution of work organization and the factors influencing its development in a digitized environment. The results show that with the introduction of digital mobile technologies, the work organization model goes beyond the traditional management concept based on rigid hierarchy and managerial control. The implementation of flexible models of labor organization is possible only on the basis of new methods of management and development of employees, particularly in the practice of platform employment, which is gaining rapid traction around the world. In the absence of these conditions, there are many fears about future work related to the features of industry 4.0, which is based on digital technologies.
