Abstract

The purpose of the article is to research theoretical approaches to adaptation and justify the need to apply a systemic approach to the adaptation of personnel of modern enterprises. The article reveals the significance of personnel adaptation in the personnel management system of the enterprise. The main definitions of the concept of personnel adaptation, given by modern scientists, have been systematized. It is proven that the concept of "personnel adaptation" is considered by scientists in relation to new employees. Approaches to determining the adaptation of personnel from the standpoint of psychology and from the standpoint of management of the adaptation process are distinguished. The main stages of adaptation of a new employee are outlined: familiarization, adaptation, assimilation, identification. The importance of applying a system approach to the adaptation of personnel of modern enterprises is shown. The main elements of the personnel adaptation system are characterized: adaptation program, mentoring, evaluation system, motivation system and employee adaptation process. The main components of the employee adaptation program are presented. Mentoring is considered as the main tool for personnel adaptation, which involves training the employee directly at the workplace through the transfer of the acquired experience and knowledge by experienced employees and the formation of the necessary skills. It is pointed out that mentoring is a tool for personnel adaptation, the use of which is regulated at the state level. The Methodological recommendations for the introduction of mentoring, approved by the order of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine dated 11.10.2017 No. 1611, were considered. The main elements of the evaluation system during staff adaptation were outlined and substantiated, namely the stages of the evaluation process, evaluation goals (informative, motivational, administrative), various methods evaluations used at different stages: during personnel selection, for the formation of an adaptation program and for evaluating the results of adaptation. It is proposed to use a motivation system to reinforce adaptation measures, which will allow the management of the enterprise to ensure an increase in the employee's motivation and speed up the dynamics of his exit to the appropriate level of productivity.
