Abstract

This article presents the main approaches to considering the concept as one of the main elements of the picture of the world. Particular attention is paid to the typology of world pictures, reflecting the images of the surrounding reality, as well as the comparative characteristics of the concept and the concept. The article discusses two main approaches to the study of concepts - linguocognitive and linguocultural, emphasis is placed on the structure of the concept, according to these two approaches.
