Abstract

Recently, the role of residents as the subject of solving local problems is growing, and one of the solutions, Living Lab, aims to 'local innovation together with residents' and solves social problems by promoting cooperation between the local science and technology group and the resident society. It appears as an attempt to Living labs involving residents are carried out with responsibility and initiative, with residents participating in the entire process, and living labs are also spreading in the region in Gwangju Metropolitan City. Community mapping is a process in which residents directly collect information on specific topics, such as local issues, and make a map to share and use it. It is actively used in living labs involving residents. Therefore, this study aims to study the case of a living lab involving residents using community mapping, and through this, the purpose is to find a direction to create a sustainable village in which residents are the main actors by increasing residents' participation.
