Abstract
Until 2014, due to the growth of income and, as a result, demand, there was a positive trend towards an increase in the physical equivalent of the market size of fruit and berry crops with incredible import rates. As we remember, Russian agriculture was systematically recovering after the recession in the 1990s. The cultivation of fruit and berry crops is one of the central directions of providing the Russian population with a vitamin complex, which is important for the normalization of lifestyle. This article analyzes the profitability of growing berries within the berry subcomplex on the example of strawberries, as one of the most common crops, and blueberries, as a fairly new crop in our country.
