Abstract

The research aims to analyse and summarise the results of an experimental study on features of social competencies formation in adolescents with mild mental deficiency. The study was conducted on the basis of a developed system of diagnostic tools, criteria apparatus, quantitative and qualitative assessment of the results: a four-level quantitative assessment system with subsequent qualitative interpretation. Scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that the work presents criteria for assessing the cognitive component of social competencies in adolescents with mild mental deficiency. The article covers the diagnostic assessment results of the cognitive component of social competencies in adolescents with mild mental deficiency.
