Abstract

The article presents the results of the empirical study of functional comfort of workers belonging to a subject-information class of activities (N=543). The authors have revealed qualitative differences of structures in the groups of “traditional” and “virtual organizations”, and no significant differences in the group “inside” virtual organization (“main workplace”, “alternative workplace”). The tendency revealed is explained by the fact that in the context of a virtual organization there is no necessity in the deep integration of the components of functional comfort and in regulatory mechanisms activation. It is due to the current environment conditions and the authors treat it as a positive phenomenon, necessary and valid mechanism forming functional comfort of virtual organization workers. The authors outlined the prospects for research of human activities in a brand new sphere of national science – cyber psychology.
