Abstract

The chapter deals with issues related to the urgent problem of studying the role and place of language in intercultural communication in the light of the new paradigm of teaching foreign languages, in inextricable connection with the trends taking place in different spheres of life. The analysis of the significance of intercultural communication, the conceptual apparatus is given, a number of rules are given aimed at the successful use of a foreign language in intercultural communication.
