Abstract
The article discusses issues related to the transition of food industries to a digital technological way. At the moment, there is a lack of use of digital technologies in the food industry, which affects the competitiveness of the domestic food industry in international markets. The use of digital technologies in the food industry will make it possible to adapt more quickly to changing needs, as shown by the pandemic that began in 2020. Enterprises using digital tools, despite serious restrictions, were able to increase their revenues and enter new markets. Another important aspect of the digitalization of the food industry is information accessibility, both for consumers and for businesses. At the same time, the digital transformation of the food industry is associated with a number of difficulties, including lack of funding, insufficient motivation of producers to implement information technologies at their enterprises, lack of educational skills and competencies of staff. The problem of interrelation of scientific and educational organizations with enterprises in the field of information technology development is particularly acute. To solve these problems, a set of organizational and economic tools is proposed based on state incentives for programs and projects for the digital development of the food industry. Stimulating measures on the part of the state, including the provision of preferential loans and leasing, the provision of tax benefits, as well as compensation of insurance premiums for the insurance of digital transformation projects, act as tools for the development of digital technologies in the food industry. In order to increase the efficiency of the use of digital technologies in the food industry, it is proposed to develop such development institutions as venture funds, business incubators, accelerators, etc.
