Abstract

This study included development of estimated model for LNG bunkering ship, taking into account all it main properties and operational aspects. The paper discusses the following: hull lines drawing, open-water propulsion performance, hydrostatics, fuel consumption, payload capacity and weight calculations. The procedures and lgorithms developed under this investigation have been implemented as specialized software package that could be useful at early design stages, in searching optimal configuration for the bunkering ship itself and its LNG containment systems LNG containment systems.
