Abstract

The article highlights the problem of adaptation of children of primary school age to hearing impairment. The object of research is characterized: the process of adaptation of children to hearing impairment. The subject is shown: adaptive characteristics of children of primary school age to hearing impairment. The aim of the work was to identify the adaptive characteristics of children of primary school age to hearing im-pairment based on the analysis of scientific and methodological literature.A set of tasks was solved: 1. Give psychological and pedagogical characteristics to children of primary school age. 2. Consider the psychological and pedagogical characteristics of junior schoolchildren with hearing impairments. 3. To present the content of the concept of “adaptation” in modern science. 4. Analyze the content of the adaptive characteristics of children of primary school age to hearing impairment. 5. Describe the education system for children with hearing impairments as a way of de-veloping their adaptive characteristics. The research methods are highlighted: theoretical analysis of scientific and methodological literature on the research problem; synthesis and generalization; deduction and induction. The main aspects of adaptation in domestic and foreign science are shown. The analysis of theoretical studies on the problem of adaptation is given.
