Abstract

The article the macrosociological analysis is the basis for the sociological dimension of risks for social adaptation of a young family in Russia. The author believes that the risks have the greatest impact on the adaptation in the Russian society, including the young families. The author's attention is drawn to such a factor as the transformation of the institution of the family. In the institutional space of family relations the families are formed, function, develop and breakdown under the logic of the institutional trajectory of family development in Russia. In the article the author focuses on the external factors associated with the social and economic state in the country, which leads to a high risk of economic isolation of a young family, threatening its disintegration. As the research shows these factors together determine the risky background and type of adaptation of young families in Russian society. The reduction of risks for social adaptation of young families in Russia is in the overcoming the inconsistency between the institutional conditions for the development of the young family and its changing needs, interests, goals, and meanings of family life.
