Abstract

Introduction. The article presents the results of the defining analysis of the basic concepts regarding the personnel potential of the Ukraine Armed Forces and the quality of higher military education, author's suggestions on the clarification of these concepts are presented, links between them in the developed structure of the quality system of higher military education are considered.Purpose. The purpose of the article is theoretical study of the essence of the concepts of "personnel potential", "competence", "quality of higher military education", "ensuring the quality of higher military education", "guaranteeing the quality of higher military education", analysis of the links between them and the development of the quality system higher military education structure.Methods. system analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, comparison, classification, generalization and systematization.Results. The essence, content and structure of the following pedagogical categories: "personnel potential", "competence", "quality of higher military education", "ensuring the quality of higher military education", "guaranteeing the quality of higher military education", also considered in the article on the basis of structural, comparative, analysis and interpretation of the usage peculiarities of the above mentioned concepts in the pedagogy.Originality. Definitive and comparative analysis of such pedagogical categories as "personnel potential", "competence", "quality of higher military education", "ensuring the quality of higher military education", "guaranteeing the quality of higher military education", have been made.Conclusion. The article deals with the defining analysis of general scientific concepts such as "personnel potential", "competence", "quality of higher military education", "ensuring the quality of higher military education", "guaranteeing the quality of higher military education", where the key component is the competence of the student of higher military education in the context of the his training quality in higher military educational establishments
