Abstract

Today the priority development of the domestic forestry is to ensure continuous, sustainable and rational use of forest resources. In spite of this, inevitably formed in the process of harvesting forest residues in the form of twigs, branches, tops, otkomlevki and illiquid wood plowed or burned. Analysis of this type of waste wood has shown that logging residues make up 18% of the total biomass of a tree and are a potential raw material for processing, wood chips and other products. The studies were scientifically substantiated and experimentally confirmed the possibility of technological chips of plate for the pulp and paper industry. It was established the influence of the type of wood and waste wood chips on the qualitative indicators.
