Abstract

The article examines the role of the digital educational environment in school homework practice. The goal is to improve the quality of teaching and learning. The authors study the history of the origin and transformation of homework, as well as the most important functions of homework in the development of personality and self-organization of schoolchildren. Based on the material of a sociological study conducted in the format of an online survey in schools of Omsk, the attitude of parents and schoolchildren to the use of digital educational resources and platforms for completing homework is revealed. This problem is studied in the context of the prospects for the digital transformation of modern education.
