Abstract
The problem of a person's stay in difficult life situations is extremely relevant in our society in the situation of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The article is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of resilience among one of the most sensitive segments of the population: teenagers. This analysis is conditioned by the modern realities of a sudden, full-scale Russian military invasion of the territory of Ukraine. The results of the theoretical analysis of the problem of the vitality of the individual are presented. Modern theoretical approaches to defining the essence of the concept are analyzed: systemic, structural-functional, resource, existential-humanistic, ecopsychological, the need for the synthesis of theoretical approaches to define this concept is substantiated. The functions, factors, indicators of the vitality of the individual are determined. It is emphasized that psychological stability allows a person to quickly adapt to sudden changes, adverse conditions, the consequences of difficult life situations and emotional reactions to difficult events, prevents the development of depressive states. It is emphasized that resilience develops throughout life, but adolescence is the most decisive and sensitive to its development. Attention is focused on the adolescent's experience of a difficult life situation as a result of military operations. In the framework of the study, resilience is considered the main resource for overcoming difficult life situations and refers to the ability of adolescents to control and manage life events in uncertain circumstances, perceive difficulties as a valuable experience and successfully overcome them, and use it as an opportunity for personal psychological growth. It is emphasized that resilience develops throughout life, but adolescence is the most decisive and sensitive to its development. Attention is focused on the adolescent's experience of a difficult life situation as a result of military operations.
