Abstract

The article discusses the basics of risk assessment of educational processes of the quality management system of additional professional education (QMS APE) of a higher educational institution. The approaches to assessing the risks of educational processes in the context of risk-oriented thinking in the management of the QMS of the university are analyzed. The modular-hierarchical structure of educational risks is determined, correlated with the totality of interrelated and interacting processes of the QMS of APE. The expediency of applying tools and technologies of statistical justi cation to the assessment of risks arising from the management of educational processes is substantiated. A procedure for assessing educational risks based on the rank method is proposed, which allows not only to identify threats arising as a result of process management, but also to form a generalized assessment of their impact on the functioning of the QMS as a whole. The adaptation of the proposed approach to risk assessment of QMS APE processes is considered on the example of the «Recruitment» subprocess. The expediency of using the proposed approach to risk assessment in relation to the QMS processes of a higher educational institution is argued.
