Abstract
The article justifies the danger of gas stations combining a gas station and buildings for servicing vehicles and their owners in the event of fires and explosions, including those on high-speed highways. The development of the most destructive accident in recent years at a gas station located in a complex with a car maintenance station is described. An analysis of accident risk assessment methods at fire hazardous facilities was carried out, on the basis of which it was concluded that it was necessary to develop a methodology for assessing accident risk at gas stations, taking into account the peculiarities of their development.
