The use of correlation and regression analysis made it possible to assess the dependence of innovative development on the state of its potential components. Findings. It is known that the active development of any industry, including the agricultural sector, largely depends on the perception of enterprises to innovate. In particular, as much as possible attention should be paid to the formation of an effective innovation policy, since the rapid development of the future will be determined by innovative activity and its financial support, both at the state, region, and enterprise levels. The main innovative components of enterprises are scientific, material, technical, personnel and financial potentials. Changes in the components of the innovative potential of agricultural enterprises of Ukraine for 2010-2017 are considered. It should be noted that during these years almost all the components tended to decrease, namely, the scientific, financial components, which decreased during the crisis. Slightly improved its material and technical component. Originality. Measures of the state agrarian policy are proposed that contribute to strengthening the innovative potential of agricultural enterprises. Practical value. Only the formation of organizational and economic mechanisms, both at the state level and at the enterprise level, which would ensure the demand for innovation, reliable financing of research and development, and close relationships in the chain “science - production - market - consumption”, are an important condition for the transition agricultural enterprises of Ukraine on an innovative development model.
