Abstract

The purpose of this study is to verify the causal relationship among burden, stress, coping behavior and estimate interaction effect of achievement motivation. Through this process, it is to propose a theoretical model to help increase the expertise and psychological interventions for referee. Research participants were selected from basketball referee registered in NABA; purposive sampling was as carried out, and data from 211 basketball referee were analyzed. For data process, SPSS 22.0 and SPSS Macro PROCESS 2.13 were used to verify hypothesis. The conclusions are as follows: First, each path for the burden, stress and coping behavior shows a positive effect in a state when interaction of achievement motivation is excluded. Second, achievement motivation moderates the relationship between burden and stress. Third, achievement motivation moderates the relationship between stress and coping behavior.
