Second, the task propensity positively (+) impacted the intention to continue athlete qualification, but the ego propensity did not have a significant influence on them. Third, confidence, vigor, and enthusiasm positively (+) impacted the intention to continue athlete qualification, but dedication did not have a significant influence on them.<BR> Conclusion: These results mean that it is meaningful to improve students’ athlete engagement and the intention to continue athlete qualification through task propensity, and to improve their intention to continue athlete qualification through athlete engagement.
