Abstract
The article discloses the impact of processes of digitalization on social and economic development of society. The article seeks to obtain an overview of current state and directions of economic development which is influenced by the processes of digitalization and innovative transformation. It comes to the conclusion that there are three ultimate tendencies in social and economic development of modern society which are affected by digitalization and innovative transformation. They are global transformation of labour market, shortage of qualified human recourses demanded for ensuring the qualitative transition to digitalization and innovations, transition to active stage of development of knowledge economy.
