Abstract
The stages of development of the national and priority project "Safe high-quality roads" and the structure are described, indicating the main indicators, composition, as well as the geography of distribution. The topic of the concept of the normative transport and operational condition of highways as the main indicator in the development of the concept of not only this national project, but also the priority project, which was its predecessor, as well as indicators of the transport and operational condition of highways of regional, inter-municipal significance and urban agglomerations in the context of the subjects of the federation, is also disclosed.
