Abstract
Objective of the article: to study the attitude of medical students to distance learning in the discipline "Polyclinic and emergency pediatrics" during the COVID-19 pandemic. Materials and research methods: a questionnaire that includes questions about the organization of online lessons, subjective assessment of adaptation, the level of motivation, changes in the study load, the positive and negative aspects of distance learning. The research was carried out using Google Forms, an online service for creating a survey form, collecting and processing the received data. 140 students of 5-6 courses of the pediatric faculty of BSMU took part in a sample anonymous survey. The survey made it possible to identify the positive aspects of distance learning, among which were named: low risk of infection, saving time and money for moving between clinical sites, comfortable learning in a familiar home environment, reducing stress levels, self-discipline, the ability to copy and re-study educational material, the ability to combine study and work. The distance learning format cannot completely replace the full-time form, but the transfer of part of the study load to the distance form should be recognized as positive.
