The negative consequences of Russian full-scale military invasion for representatives of agrarian business have been determined. The main business entities of the agro-industrial complex and actual problems hindering their effective economic activity have been identified, including the analysis of the current state of domestic agricultural enterprises. Special attention is paid to the strategic policy of management and the need to develop a system of measures to prevent and minimize financial and economic risks. The authors claim that the formation of an enterprise's financial and economic security requires a clear definition of goals and objectives at each level of management and the establishment of close relationships between them, as well as taking into account alternative strategies and means of ensuring economic security. Further directions for the development of the agro-industrial complex are determined. The proposed recommendations aim at ensuring the effective management of the financial and economic security of the agricultural enterprise, in particular, at improving strategic planning and responding to changes in the business environment. The study findings point to the significance of the financial and economic security of the agricultural enterprise as it is a component of country’s general security. It is necessary to strengthen measures to support agricultural enterprises in ensuring their sustainability and competitiveness in conditions of the business environment uncertainty.
