Abstract
The present article deals with the possibility of use in the teaching process of sustainable constructions of the Arabic language such as proverbs, sayings and aphorisms. Revealing the semantics of key concepts of the proverbial fund of the Arabic language the author establishes their relationship with the various realities of the life of the Arab people, their customs and traditions. Some of the proverbs given in the article are provided with comments containing references in culture-oriented linguistics and extracts from folk tales, parables, real stories, etc.
