Abstract

The issue of digital transformation of Ukraine's economy is updated as a constructive response to modern challenges. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the content and theoretical aspects of the digital transformation of Ukraine's economy. To achieve the goal, general scientific methods were used: analysis, synthesis, comparison, specification, generalization, content analysis. Research results. The main legislative and normative documents of Ukraine, which contributed to the digitalization of the national economy and determine the prospects for its further development, are highlighted. The genesis and essence of the concept of "digital economy" are analyzed, and its author's interpretation is proposed. It was noted that the terminological field of the key concepts of the study was increased due to the introduction of new categories "global digital divide", "digital competences", "digital literacy", "big data", "exabyte economy", "digital technologies", "smart product", "electronic business", "smart specialization", "data center", "digital fraud", etc. Emphasis is placed on the need to prepare a modern encyclopedic edition to interpret the above-mentioned concepts and categories on the basis of an interdisciplinary approach. The trends of the transformation of the economy of Ukraine are characterized. A matrix is proposed in which industries are indicated depending on the degree of digitalization and new technologies, which are most in demand at the current stage in these industries, are singled out. It was concluded that there is a lack of interdisciplinary scientific research on the features of the digital transformation of society and the development of general digital culture. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the fact that for the first time the following theoretical aspects of the digital transformation of Ukraine's economy have been identified and substantiated: conceptual-categorical, legislative-normative and theoretical-methodological. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the fact that they can be used for further scientific research, as well as the creation and introduction into the educational process of higher education institutions of educational and methodological support from the educational component "Digital Economy" by teachers who train specialists in economic specialties. We see the prospects for further research in the development and scientific substantiation of the criterion-diagnostic toolkit for monitoring the digitalization of the national economy. Keywords: digital economy; digital transformation of the economy; Industry 4.0; branch of economy; trends and prospects of digitization; global risks; digital innovations; digital competence; digital culture.
