Abstract

In the article the main attention is paid to the actual problem of attracting students to physical education and sports classes in higher education institutions, increasing motivation to activity and the personal image of student youth. The theoretical analysis of scientific works is carried out, the results of scientific researches of activity are presented and the level of formation of the image of students in higher education institutions is researched. Specifies the concept: motive, motivation, motor activity, image. The problem of the formation of personal image and motivation for the activity of students becomes a priority for the development of a modern system in higher education institutions, the strategic goal of which is to educate and develop the identity of an applicant who is ready for creative activity and ethics. Based on the analysis of scientific sources allowed us to determine that the activity consists of movements that are one of the necessary living conditions. The level of activity of student youth is mainly determined not by the age need for it, but by the organization of physical education in higher education, the involvement of student youth in organized and independent activities during extracurricular time. The image of a business person is a complete image of a personality, which vividly embodies how a person looks, speaks, dresses, acts; her ability to hold, posture, posture and body language, accessories. We have defined the components of the personal image of the higher education student: appearance (clothes, accessories for clothing, posture and stroke); high self-esteem and self-confidence; moral values of the person; social and personal responsibility, I am the cause of all positive and negative in my life); the desire to change and improve and the ability to take risks for the sake of positive change. Based on the results of the study, we can recommend a number of activities to improve the organization of physical education classes among students in order to interest and attract them to physical education and sports: opening sections from popular sports; curriculum adjustments; planning the educational process taking into account the motives and interests of students; improvement of material and technical base.
