Abstract

This article discusses the state regulation of the labor market and its effectiveness. The necessity of state regulation of the labor market is considered. The content of state regulation is considered on the example of the state program "Development of the labor market in the Kaluga region". It is indicated that the level of achievement of the goals and objectives of the program is assessed by four indicators approved by the Decree of the Government of the Kaluga region. It is proved that the effectiveness of public administration is determined by improving the level and quality of life of the population. The analysis of the achievement of the indicators of the state program "Development of the labor market in the Kaluga region" and the standard of living of the population in the region is carried out. The conclusion is made about the effectiveness of the activities of public administration in the region.
