Abstract

The problematic issues of legal representation of minor participants in criminal proceedings are considered. Regardless of procedural status, any minor participant must have a legal representative. At the same time, there are discrepancies in the norms of criminal procedural legislation relating to this procedure, which leads to different interpretations by law enforcement officers. The need to amend certain articles of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation to eliminate problems is indicated.
