Abstract

The article considers the interrelation between the personal qualities of volleyball players and the physical quality - speed. The data of the author's research are given in the framework of the pedagogical experiment set to discover the development of speed, with the personal qualities of athletes taken into account. The paper presents the author's studies data of the relationship between the leading personal qualities of volleyball players and the development of speed. The data of the pedagogical experiment is given. Relevance. The problem of the combination of physical quality of speed and personal qualities remains relevant. To achieve an ability of developing the high speed, an athlete must also take into account his personal qualities during the preparation process. The introduction of methods in the development and training programs of the speed development and its specific varieties for volleyball, taking into account personal qualities, will ensure an increase in the efficiency of the pedagogical process, which will have a positive effect on the level of preparedness of the volleyball player for the competitions. Problem, purpose, task. Analysis of the scientific and methodological literature allowed us to identify the problem of the absolute or partial lack of consideration of personal qualities in methods of the speed development among volleyball players. The purpose of the study is to identify the dynamics of the development of speed, taking into account the leading personal qualities of volleyball players. Materials and research methods. Scientific and methodological literature on volleyball and sports psychology was analyzed, the experience of sports practice was generalized. Development of research methods by expert assessment. Author's research analysis and processing of the results were obtained by the methods of mathematical analysis. For the development of methods for the speed development, with personal qualities taken into account, an experiment was conducted. Results and their discussion. The results of the ascertaining experiment conducted by us allowed to establish quantitative and qualitative indicators, to calculate their average value and successfully develop the speed of the subjects, taking into account their leading personal qualities. Conclusion. As a result of the study, we identified the most significant personal qualities of volleyball players for the development of speed. The experimental method used by us for development of the volleyball players speed is highly effective and is not inferior to the existing methods. The data of the formative experiment conducted by us confirmed the assumption that it is possible to increase the effectiveness of the methods of general and special physical training, taking into account the personal qualities of athletes.
