Abstract
He article investigates the activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the field of information security, and the descriptive and historical-comparative methods are used as the main research methods to reveal the activities of the organization in the field of information security. Nowadays, information technology has rapidly entered our lives and has become an integral part of our lives. Because the dynamic development of information and telecommunication technologies and the impact of digital transformation show that the role of information security in the national security system has increased. The security of each state is inextricably linked to ensuring the information and psychological security of the individual. Such conditions are the reason why the term "information security" has become relevant. The study also emphasizes that information is an important strategic resource and that information security has become an integral part of national security and its current threats.
