Abstract
The article is devoted to the military-religious relations of the Separate corps of the Internal guard of the Russian Empire. Identified the main tasks of the impact of religious institutions on the teams of soldiers: 1) the establishment and maintenance of the military moral framework conducive to improving the efficiency of the army; 2) improving the manageability of troops, preventing the decomposition of the army for the reasons of religious conflicts. It is concluded that the military-religious relations, including the Separate corps of the Internal guard, was a continuation of the military-state relations.
