Abstract

The article is devoted to the effectiveness of the use of gaming technologies in the process of professional training of police officers with the aim of forming general cultural and professional competences, increasing the effectiveness of the educational process, and developing special knowledge and practical skills in the educational process. The article analyzes gaming technologies as contributing to the formation of general cultural competences. The empirical material shows that they contribute to the organization with further self-organization of cognitive activity of students, the development of research skills, the formation of the ability to use knowledge in practical activities.
