Abstract
The aim of the study is to identify the specifics of implementation of the additional professional program “Translator in the field of professional communication” at military educational institutions of higher education at the final stage of training. The authors propose a scientific justification of the organizational approaches to goal setting, selection and structuring of the content of training, among which professional communicative competence formation among translators in the field of professional communication is considered one of the most important. The scientific novelty of the study lies in describing the linguomethodological foundations for professional communicative competence formation among translators in the field of professional communication, substantiating the principles and clarifying the content of training at the final stage, determining the features of introduction of communicative situational learning into the system of professional training of a military pilot with additional qualifications. As a result, a teaching methodology based on a system of exercises and didactic materials that ensure professional communicative competence formation among translators in the field of professional communication at the final stage of training at a military university has been presented.
