Abstract
This study used Johari’s window as an analysis tool to explore the aspects of human relationships and personality education and implications recognized by elementary school pre-service teachers. The conclusions of the study based on the summary of the research results are as follows. First, the pattern of human relationships recognized by elementary school pre-service teachers did not grow significantly in open, hidden, blind, and unknown areas, contrary to expectations. This means that pre-service teachers have a sense of balance in those four areas. Second, the correlation between self-explore and reception feedback is ‘.234’, which is not significant. And they are grouped into items with ‘positive and natural meanings and negative meanings’, and the mechanism that binds them in this way is positive tropism. Third, since empathy drives the expansion of open areas and provides a foundation for character education to work by creating synergy effects, empathy with sincerity is needed to improve empathy.
