Abstract

The purpose of this study is to verify the structural relationships between leisure competence fun factor and leisure satisfaction in marin sports participants. To achieve the objective of this study, 387 surveys were collected from marin sports participants in Seoul, Gyeong-gi, and Chung-cheung areas. Frequency, reliability, correlation, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling were using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. The significance level of all tests was p.05. The findings were as follows: First, leisure competence had a positive influence on fun factor. Second, leisure competence had a positive influence on leisure satisfaction. Finally, fun factor had a negative influence on leisure satisfaction. Marin sports offered high satisfaction to participants. However, competence, fun factor, and nature of participants and environment did not influence on satisfaction. Therefore, we need to develop many teaching methods and infra for high satisfaction among marin sport activity.
