Abstract
This study confirmed the effects of psychological skill training on sports competition state anxiety, sports psychological skills, stress, and self-confidence for national ski players. In this study, psychological skill training was conducted a total of 12 times (120 minutes at a time). For data analysis, sports competition status test strips (CSAI-2), sports psychological skills test strips (PSQS), and stress and confidence test strips were used before and after psychological skill training. The results of this study are as follows. First, in the subjects of the study, after the psychological skill training program, the anxiety in sports competition state changed positively, such as cognitive anxiety, physical anxiety, and self-confidence. Second, after the psychological skill training program, it was found that the level of sports psychology skills such as self-confidence, concentration, goal achievement, team harmony, imagery, and anxiety control were positively changed in the study subjects. Third, the study subjects showed reduced stress and improved self-confidence after the psychological skill training program. Through the above results, it was confirmed that psychological skill training for national ski players had a positive effect on sports competition state anxiety, psychological skill level, stress, and confidence. Therefore, it is suggested that sports psychological skill training should be expanded to various sports events.
