Abstract

벼 흰잎마름병 발병 상습지인 전북 김제, 전남 영암, 장흥에서 감수성인 '남평벼', 저항성인 '강백벼'(xa5)와 '익산493호'(Xa3+xa5)에 대해 병 발생과 수량 및 미질의 피해 양상을 조사하였다. 벼 발생율은 김제지역이 병 발생이 가장 심한 반면 전남 두 지역은 초발병 시기가 늦어 비교적 낮은 발병율을 보였다. '남평벼'가 <TEX>$98{\sim}23%$</TEX>로 전 지역에서 파장 감수성을 보였다. 반면, '강백벼'와 '익산493호'는 각각 <TEX>$2{\sim}15%$</TEX>, <TEX>$2{\sim}6%$</TEX>의 저항성을 나타내었다. 쌀 수량은 발병율이 가장 높은 전북 김제지역에서만 발병정도에 따라 유의성 있는 차이를 보였다. 감수성인 '남평벼'가 352 kg/10a인 반면 저항성인 '익산493호'는 540 kg/10a로 65%의 차이를 보였다. 쌀 미질은 발병정도에 관계 없이 완전립율과 심복백 비율등의 외관상 미질에 영향을 주는 것으로 조사되었다. 발병율이 낮았던 지역에서는 Xa3+xa5를 보유한 '익산493호'는 완전립율, 심복백 비율등이 xa5을 가진 '강백벼'에 비해서도 좋은 결과를 보였다. 특히 밥맛에 큰 영향을 주는 단백질 함량은 '남평벼'에서는 발병정도에 따라 불안정한 곁과를 보였으나 저항성 품종들에서는 <TEX>$6.9{\sim}9.8%$</TEX>로 균일하게 나타났다. The influence of rice bacterial leaf blight (BLB) disease incidence on yield and quality of Nampyung, Gang-baek and Iksan493 was investigated in three areas, Gimje, Yeongam and Jangheung, frequently found BLB infested rice. The infection rate of Nampyung, susceptible to BLB disease, was higher (<TEX>$23{\sim}93%$</TEX>) than Gang-baek (<TEX>$2{\sim}15%$</TEX>) and Iksan493 (<TEX>$2{\sim}6%$</TEX>), have resistant gene Xa7 and xa5, respectively. BLB disease incidence was severely found in Gimj and then yield of Nampyung was reduced 65% (352 kg/10a) compared to Iksan493 (540 kg/10a) due to the decrease in the ripen grain filling, brown/rough ratio and 1,000 grain weight. There was no difference of rice yield among Nampyung, Gangbaek and Iksan493 in Yeongam and Jangheung. The occurrence time of disease in Yeongam and Jangheung was later than Gimje and BLB disease was less infected in these areas. BLB infected rice grain showed inferior grain appearance and taste index to sound grain. independent of rice with resistant gene. In Yeongam and Jangheung, Gangbaek and Iksan493 cultivated showed lower ratio of white color to belly than Nampyung. Iksan493 showed better grain appearance and lower ratio of white core to belly than Gangbaek. In protein content of rice grain, the range of Gangbaek and Iksan493 was <TEX>$6.9{\sim}9.8%$</TEX>, but Nampyung showed unstable ranged from undetermined to 9.0%.
