Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the fun factor of in-person physical education electives in college in a “With COVID-19” environment on class satisfaction. To achieve the purpose of the study, it established a research model and hypothesis and conducted a survey method and statistical analysis to verify the hypothesis. The study subjects were 300 male and female university students, and the study used the final 289 analyzed questionnaire data. In addition, it utilized the statistical package program of SPSS 28.0 for Windows as an analysis tool and verified the research hypothesis using the multiple regression analysis statistical method.BR First, the fun factor of physical education electives had a positive (+) effect on “class operation (β=.318)” and “sociality” on “class effectiveness” a sub-factor of class satisfaction (p<.01, p<.001). Second, the fun factors of physical education electives positively (+) affected “physical health”, “sense of achievement” and “class operation” in “class environment” a sub-factor of class satisfaction(p<.01, p<.001 ). Third, t he f un factor o f physical e ducation electives h ad a p ositive (+) effect o n “teaching method” a sub-factor of class satisfaction, in the factors of “class operation” and “physical health” (p<.001).
